This is the first field note on this site. Unlike the articles section, this part will be more about scattered thoughts and occasional reflections. Most of what appears here will probably be written entirely by me, without AI assistance.
The point is to give my extra, freewheeling thoughts somewhere to go, improve my writing, and also sneak in a little break during work hours.
It is July 27 now, my fourth week interning in Shenzhen. So far, it has felt pretty good. I have learned a lot at work and experienced a lot in daily life too—that sounds very vague, haha.
For now, my writing workflow will probably be to draft everything in Obsidian first and then publish it to the site through Sanity. Maybe not many people will read it, but I still think the accumulation will be valuable over the long run.
My thoughts jump around, so this note has been written in bits and pieces, haha. I have been reading a book that seems pretty popular on Douyin: Rich Dad Poor Dad. You could call it my introduction to financial literacy. I have not finished it yet—probably around sixty percent through—but my reaction so far has been: wait, you can think about money like this? I have genuinely learned a lot, including the four categories of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities; economic cycles; and buying assets to generate cash flow. It is a very good book. I might write an article after I finish it, but I am fairly casual about reading and move slowly, so I have no idea when that will be.
My personal development direction for the next few months is to build a mini coding agent.
